Philosophy

I look at the world not only with my eyes, but also with my soul. I am interested in the interplay of colors and shapes in nature, how they mix with each other and together create an indescribable picture.

I am fascinated by changing lighting conditions, be it the morning fog or the clear light after the rain or autumnal cloud formations. These atmospheric experiences awaken the playing child in me.

Vita

– Doaa Elsayed born in 1975 in Cairo, Egypt.

– Studied interior design, doctorate Theses: The Folk Art between Simulation and Creativity.

– From 1997 to 2010 he taught at the University of Cairo.

– From 2010 to 2016 Junior Professor.

– From 2002 to 2003 social and artistic projects in the Libyan desert in Egypt.

– Since 2003, repeated painting trips, intercultural exchanges and exhibitions in Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland and Turkey.

– Main residence in Germany since 2016.

– 2015 Initiated and curated traveling exhibition “Flucht 2.0 – An Odyssey to Peace”.

– 2015 Integration Prize 2015 for the project
